Sorcerer: Solo Leveling Build For beginner
This build is by no means lacking in power but there are others which may offer better raw power if that's what you are aiming for.
Instead, this build is super fun and very safe, means you don't die often. Unless you met a more powerful monster or more monsters than you can chew of, which in any case will kill you anyway.
This build also offers those adventures who prefer to fight alone to survive in the harsh world. It is extremelly good especially in early games. The only requirement for this build to work is you need to wear light armor (all gears) and use only destruction staff. You will see why below.
Distribute your attributes points with this formula M:H:S = 3:1:0. Why not all to Magicka? You will have skills that increase Magicka regeneration, which is more superior than having larger pool. Also, more health means more survivability when you are attacked.
Then follow the skills below. I skip spell 5 because there is really nothing you need at this point, although you may choose any spell you like for 5th. The Ultimate spell you pick should be the Summoning Storm Atronach to help you killing faster while she is taking the damage.
Remember to upgrade fully all these spells/skills as they are you bread and butter which will bring you to over level 20 fast. You will need only 9 skill points for all the spells including the morphs.
The rest of the points goes to Passive and Armor (need 8 points for below). You will need all the passive from all three branches. Here is the order in which you put the points:
Armor to help your Magicka regen as early as possible:
1. Recovery
2. Evocation
Passive
3. Capacitor
4. Unholy Knowledge
5. Rebate
6. Blood Magic
7. Energized
8. Power Stone
Your strategy is very straight forward and simple. Never let the monsters come to you or in case of ranger, keep stunning them. Open with Crystal Shard/Fragments, then use your staff in between Destructive Touch/Clench for stun/knock. When the monster's health is low, kill it with Mage's Fury/Death. Meanwhile, have your Familiar/Clanfear all the time. When Atronach is active, use it often, summon it next to the monster.
High Single Target DPS Sorc
This is the first action bar focused on single target dps. The second bar would focus more on AOE damage. Second bar: Critical Surge, Crystal Fragments, Pulsar, Mages’ Wrath, Inner Light, and Energy Overload.
Sorc AOE dps Tank/healer whatever...
Fight single/group
Start "Bound Aegis" before fight.
Hit: 1) invasion (charge and knock down enemy)
2) Ransack (decrease enemy armor and increase your own)
3) Boundless storm. Further armor/resist and aoe damage
4) Drop lightning flood at your feet.
Keep boundless storm up and ransack if possible. Don't burn through your magicka too fast.
If things get messy swap to bar (2)
1) Streak out of danger.
2) Cast heals on yourself healing springs/rapid regen.
3) Drop a curse if magicka available.
Swap back to Bar (1) and charge back in!
Build 5 light/2 heavy armor. Max magicka and magic regen.
Still optimizing this. Your armor will be maxed maybe more than needed even in full light armor while buffs hold out anyway.

Does that Sorc Solo?
-THIS BUILD SURPASSES 40 K DAMAGE- And please excuse the last build forogt to type this in. This build is pretty much a solo class if you feel like doing dungeons by yourself. I just enter a dungeon vet or not and fck em up although Vet White gold tower does give me problems and i have to group but the others you can pretty much solo if your Cp is high enough. For those without cp this build is still amazing for trash control and bosses but only use war horn if your by yourself use the Destructive Staff ultimate if you group with friends. This build isn't that complicated but just get use to weapon swapping you will do it alot. haven't really tested pvp yet but i know it is beast in dungeons and in endgame content. But i go with groups of course
warlord
this is a thing that could help me from damage and to regenerate health and magicka
2H Crit Siphon Tank
First off this build strongly revolves around light and heavy attacks. Using both Critical Surge and Rally to buff Weapon Damage and Bound Armaments to further buff Heavy Attacks and Armor. This Sorceress is kept alive using 5med/2heavy utilizing the %crit chance from medium armor to fuel Critical Surge heals from Stampede and all other weapon crits. Keeping Degeneration active on targets will give a 15% of all light and heavy attacks to heal for %115 of their damage. Also Thundering Presence will assist in addition armor and spell resistance. For CC and Utility we have Stampede for gap closing, Dizzying Swing for stun and weaken debuff, Restraining Prison for CC, and Ball of Lightning for gap closing/escape/ranged attack mitigation. Skill set 1 is the set up, containing the two buffs, ranged debuff and Stampede to begin assaulting, swith to set 2 to control the fight with dizzying Swing and Restraining Prison. Damage mitigation comes from Thundering Presence, and Ball of lighting for retreat and ranged protection. ALSO because I have seen alot of builds without this I must note, Bound Armaments must exsist on both bars to persist when swapping. Ultimates are Power overload for the obvious benefits effecting our already buffed light and heavy attacks, and Absorption Field to protect from casters as well as assist in cc and health siphoning.
Tazzelhoffs Farming Sorc
This is the template for my main character a DPS powerhouse that I use for all of my farming and crafting as well. I have taken a lot of time gathering skyshards to max out everything I needed in crafting and not sacrificing my skills. With this character I use Legendary Julianos, Martial Knowledge and relic will power sets. The main bar is designed for maximum DPS on sinbgle target enemies and bosses during group activities. I am spamming force shock until I see my instant cast of crystal fragments come available. One the boss has dropped below 20% i will switch to mages wrath. If I am cornered or need some space then streak comes into play. Energy overload is fantastic on this bar as I can pop it and continue to use my mages wrath for additional damage and magicka management.
My secondary bar is used for group pulls while farming craglorn and crackwood usually. This bar is for trash pulls, crowd control and solo farming. I lay down liquid lighting, pop my hardened ward and jump in the center spamming impulse. Boundless storm as a nice AOE affect to add to the whole bundle and since the recent patch now uses stamina so saves my magicka. Shooting star is the best ultimate despite taking time to unlock it is well worth the damage. Bound aegis needs to be on both bars to keep active at all times.
Champion points obviously favor DOT and magicka use and recovery. My damage shield manages my 17k health problem. With a 40% spell crit and high magicka I usually clear an area before my first ward falls off.
Okay so there is no “Edit” option.. the “4th skill” meant to be “Ward Ally”, the tool mixed the order of skills up a bit :/
hello
i added 2 builds… well one and a half.
the NIGHT MAGE and the UNDYING BLADE.
i hope some of you like to comment on theese, since its not the old-fashioned and booring DW/Bow-sneaky-creepy-assasin-rouge-style-archetype.
I like my opponents see me comming and my fights long and rewarding.
maybe we find a way to improve it even more, or you see synergies/buffs/things/changes in rotation which i have not.
cheers
playerklaus
Some comments or thoughts on my build for pvp/pve would be great. Thanks!
It’s now the middle of 2017. With the newest content of Morrowwind coming out very soon. Anything for the new builds or monster sets?
