Nightblade is the only class that has a vanish skill that lets you get out of sticky situation or prepare your most devastating attacks. Assassination Nightblades will be all about dealing damage (or buffing themselves to do the most damage). Shadow is the skill line you want to follow if you want to get utility abilities that will make you vanish and do the most damage while surprising your enemies. Siphoning is more about DOTs and leaching health. Great for weakening mobs while staying alive. Whether you use a bow, daggers or other means of dealing damage to your enemies, Nightblade’s skill will help you dispose of them the fastest. Pick and choose skills bellow and save them so others can see your preferred playstyle.

this is a strong self-healing spec. it is nearly impossible to run out of mana. you can clear dark-anchors, group-bosses and open dungeons solo while leveling up.
It is extreme fun to play.
even in pvp it kinda works. due to safe range and good support/fast ult gen via healing.
but pvp is not pve so this build might have its weaknesses i guess.
Optional:
-if you go in a group, just switch Mass Hysterya for Volcanic Rune
-if you face a strong boss, like Frost Atronach (dont know if nerfed yet) switch Dark Cloak for Aspect of Terror (i call it my little taunt)
-Assasination Ultimate for Soul Assault (faster Ult-gen and good single-targed damage too) But its melee-range (you decide)
-single target: switch Impale for the Mage Guild DoT for more selfheal and additional 8%HP
-Vampirism
-Breton for reduce spell-cost
-Argonian for more self-heal (I chosed Dark-Elv due to Vampirism/Fire-resistance) imo best allround-race
playstyle is very simple... it just flows.

Cripple->Swallow Soul->AutoAttck/heavyAttck->Fear.
Keep Cripple active, keep SwallowSoul-HoT active (fish for big Crit, then keep active. this way you can get 350heal and more/2sec )

-When taking melee-damage / need to restore magica ->use Mass Hysteria
-When Mass Hysteria wears off (enemy point of return) ->Cripple (there will be time for 2 full HeavyAttcks) the magica reg is just insane!
-fearing an enemy off in order to get the window for a safe Soul Assault or just Impale spam in the back is one of the keys to make this build work.

this is more or less your OhSh*t bar, however i worked something out to just heal to full:
Mass Hysteria->Switch Bar->Mutagen->Healing Ward. and now the secret:
2xDark Cloak! You dont take any damage, Healing Ward expires and BOOM up to 2k heal.
The Veil of Blades Ultimate is just to make sure you can heal through / kill all your enemys (just in case the pull got bigger than expected)
Gear:
I'm using 5light / 2heavy but im sure 7 light is a way to go too.

atm 3x Willows
Legs/Hood/Breast infused
small parts mundus
1 Resto Staff with more Armor/Magic defense
1 Resto Staff with crit but this is all optional
Amulet/Rings 3x increase Magic Damage
