Nightblade

Nightblade talent calculator, you can find bellow, will help you find the best build to match your playstyle as this, mostly, DPS class. Nightblade is the only class that has a vanish skill that lets you get out of sticky situation or prepare your most devastating attacks. Assassination Nightblades will be all about dealing damage (or buffing themselves to do the most damage). Shadow is the skill line you want to follow if you want to get utility abilities that will make you vanish and do the most damage while surprising your enemies. Siphoning is more about DOTs and leaching health. Great for weakening mobs while staying alive. Whether you use a bow, daggers or other means of dealing damage to your enemies, Nightblade’s skill will help you dispose of them the fastest. Pick and choose skills bellow and save them so others can see your preferred playstyle.

ESO Nightblade Skill Calculator has been updated with ESO: Morrowind PTS 3.0 data. We will be update it with new data DLC release draws closer. Be warned that this data is from the beta server and may differ from the live version. We will update it with new data at that time.

Trials ready Nightblade Stamina build

Abilities:

Bar One:

Blood Craze: For this build Blood Craze acts as your D.O.T on the target. You want to try to keep Blood Craze up at all times.

Rapid Strikes: This ability is your main single target DPS weave ability. Contrary to what most people do, DON'T spam it! IN order to maximize Single Target DPS you want to weave a half charged heavy attack in after the Rapid Strikes animation is over.

Flying Blade: This ability is only to be used AFTER you use Ambush in order to maximize its potential damage.

Ambush: This ability should be your opening attack on a target every time. After you use Ambush you want to immediately follow it up with Flying Blade. I try to work Ambush in after every fifth weave I do with Rapid Strikes(Using Flying Blade afterwards still applies).

Focused Attack: This is to be used before you attack your target in order to A)Increase Stamina regen and B)Increase weapon attack speed. Try to keep this up throughout the entire fight.

Incapacitating Strike: I chose this ultimate over Flawless Dawnbreaker because if buffs your damage on the target by 20% for 6 seconds after using it, AND it knocks down targets if they have more health than you when you use it.

Bar Two:

Reaper's Mark: This ability you have to use carefully because for some fights in the Trials the bosses will one shot you. Depending on the target/boss I throw this ability on before the fight and if it expires I use it again. I use it to increase the amount of damage my Rapid Strikes and Flying Blade does on the target.

Whirling Blades: This is your main AoE DPS ability and I chose this particular morph because it restores stamina when it hits a target. Only use this ability AFTER you use Sap Essence 2-4 times, because Sap Essence increases weapon damage by 6% for each target hit and can hit up to 6 targets.

Sap Essence: I chose the Sap Essence morph because it heals you and allies around you thus building Veil of Blades up faster than Power Extraction. Spam this ability 2-4 times in big AoE pulls to make sure you get the full benefit. After spamming Sap Essence spam Whirling Blades till everything dies.

Evil Hunter: If you are using this build for Trials I highly suggest keeping it up the entire fight for the bosses that it procs on. You can replace it with Refreshing/Twisting Path depending on which morph you went with.

Impale: This ablity is your finisher and should only be used when the target/boss has 25% or lower health.

Veil of Blades: Best ultimate in the game, use it when its up. Nuff said.

How to use the abilities and the order in which you use them:

Single Target: For maximum single target DPS you want to start on Bar Two and throw Reaper's Mark on your target, but be careful which targets you use it on. If you're running Aetherian Archive use it on The Whispmother, and The Mage, In Hel Ra, you can use it on all bosses except the Warrior. After using Reaper's Mark, activate Evil Hunter if the target is Undead or Daedric. Switch to Bar One and activate Focused Attacks for the Stamina regen and attack speed buff. Now its time to attack, hit the target/boss with Ambush and follow it up with Flying Blade. After using Flying Blade use Blood Craze to throw a D.O.T on the target/boss (try to keep Blood Craze on the target at all times). After using Blood Craze you want to start you weave with Rapid Strikes. Your weave is Rapid Strikes, half charged heavy attack then Rapid Strikes. You want to repeat this until Blood Craze expires then you want to start over and activate Focused Attacks if it expired then Ambush, Flying Blade, etc. Once the target/boss is in execute range, switch to Bar Two and spam Impale. If you do this rotation to the best of your ability and keep Blood Craze up you can top your DPS at about 1.5k Now along the lines of Ultimates I suggest using Veil of Blades to open the fight and then only use Incapacitating Strike for the rest of the fight.

Gear: There are a few different combinations I use so I will tell you all of them.

Set 1: 5 piece Hundings Rage 4 piece Ashen Grip with two Rings of the Two-Fanged Snake and a Necklace of your choice, all the jewelry needs to have weapon damage enchants.

Set 2: 5 piece Hundings 5 piece Morag Tong with two Rings of the Two-Fanged Snake and a Necklace of Morag Tong. Again all weapon damage enchants.

Set 3: 5 piece Viper's Sting 4 or 5 piece Morag Tong with two Rings of the Two-Fanged Snake and a Necklace of Morag Tong. You will only be able to get the five piece of Viper's Sting if you get the shoulders which I am still unsure if they exist. Again all weapon Damage enchants.

Traits: If you are doing the crafted armor sets here are the traits I suggest using

Head/Chest/Legs-Infused

Boots/Hands/Belt/Shoulders-Divines

Daggers-Precise

Enchants: All stamina if you have at least 2100 health without food If you do not have at least 2100 health without food I would go Head/Chest/Legs with Health enchants and the rest Stamina enchants.

Mundus Stone-If you have at least 55% Weapon Crit without the Thief use the Shadow, if not use the Thief.

I hope y'all enjoy the build and I hope it treats you well. If you have any questions my in game name is @Shabadooh so send me a mail, add me, or whisper me if you have any questions. Thanks so much!
