Templar

Templar talent calculator that you will find bellow will help you decide which way you will build this versatile class. Choosing the right skill line will provide you with the ability to tank, heal or do good deal of damage. There are a lot of combinations to choose from and wielding bows and healing your buddies from a distance, or going up close and personal with heavy armor and self healing are all good choices with the Templar. Pick and choose carefully and you can define your playstyle in many ways. We hope the skill calculator tool will help you decide what to do in various stages of your character’s progression.

Data seen in this ESO Templar skill calculator is based off of PTS 3.0 build of the game’s client. In preparation for the release of ESO Morrowind DLC/expansion we have decided to make the default talent calculator reflect PTS skills so you can plan in advance. We will also update it as things are certainly going to change as we get closer to release on live.

ESO Morrowind Update: Skill calculator has been updated to live servers version 3.0.5 data – same as what people playing Morrowind early access are getting. All the spell values (damage and such) are based on the assumption that you have 15000 Stamina, 15000 Magicka and 1500 Weapon and Spell damage. This means that if your character has different values your in-game tooltips will show different values.

2h + 1h/shield Templar PVP with support

Updated 3/23/2015
Removed [Uppercut > Wrecking Blow] and Repentance from bar 1
Removed Breath of Life and Purifying Ritual from bar 2

Added Purifying Light and Vampires Bane to bar 1
Added Equilibrium and Lingering Ritual to bar 2

My DPS rotation is to first cast Blazing Shield, then at a distance cast Purifying Light on main target, follow up with two Vampire's Bane, then dive in with Toppling Charge, then quickly with Puncturing Sweeps, then swap to bar 2, cast [Defensive Stance or Absorb Magic], then cast Equilibrium, then switch back to bar 1 and repeat DPS rotation. Using Mist Form to create distance between stuns if necessary and Lingering Ritual for the cheap AOE heal. Can also cast Equilibrium a few times if safe and then Lingering Ritual once or twice...with the right amount of magicka recovery/reduced magicka costs and the right skills, I think you can come up in health/magicka very quickly this way, it is risky in PVP so you would want to make sure to be away from combat, but that's what Enveloping Mists is for!

In PVE, as V7, For Single Targets I'm getting 5,000-6,000 Damage Per Second with this DPS rotation, which is higher than any other rotation I've tried.

For AOE, you still have Blazing Shield + Puncturing Sweeps spam, tossing a few Vampire's Banes (or Reflective Light if you like that over Vampire's Bane...I prefer Vampire's Bane because the DoT is so powerful but Reflective Light definitely has its uses too)

I kept [Drain Essence > Accelerating Drain] on bar 2 but I rarely use it (rather I rarely can use it since it is always getting immunity...), so will be trying out different skills in that spot to see what works better.

Defensive Stance is also not utilized that often, but it's a fun easy to use skill so I kept it as well.

Please advise if you have any suggestions or critiques, I am always looking to improve and try new things.
