Templar

Templar talent calculator that you will find bellow will help you decide which way you will build this versatile class. Choosing the right skill line will provide you with the ability to tank, heal or do good deal of damage. There are a lot of combinations to choose from and wielding bows and healing your buddies from a distance, or going up close and personal with heavy armor and self healing are all good choices with the Templar. Pick and choose carefully and you can define your playstyle in many ways. We hope the skill calculator tool will help you decide what to do in various stages of your character’s progression.

Data seen in this ESO Templar skill calculator is based off of PTS 3.0 build of the game’s client. In preparation for the release of ESO Morrowind DLC/expansion we have decided to make the default talent calculator reflect PTS skills so you can plan in advance. We will also update it as things are certainly going to change as we get closer to release on live.

ESO Morrowind Update: Skill calculator has been updated to live servers version 3.0.5 data – same as what people playing Morrowind early access are getting. All the spell values (damage and such) are based on the assumption that you have 15000 Stamina, 15000 Magicka and 1500 Weapon and Spell damage. This means that if your character has different values your in-game tooltips will show different values.

Templar PvP DPS Build

Templars are renowned as healers but healing here is purely secondary. In this build the templar(you) will be a front-line man.
Bar 1
-Blazing Sield
-This is the primary source of your DPS whilst moving through the hordes of enemies that oppose you
-Repentance
-Use with caution! repentance should only be used as a last stand tactic to replenish you and what's left of your raid's health and stamina(If you are not finding yourself low on heals or stamina, this skill is interchangeable with Inner Light to get that needed spell crit)
-Harness Magicka
-With you moving in the front line, you will be taking the most magic damage, why not absorb some of it? Activate Harness Magicka then you must have blazing shield up to preserve the ability. This will keep your magicka resource pool filled.
-Unstoppable
-Should wait until the last second to be used, purely in the name of conservation of stamina, if you find your self low on stamina its okay to activate repentance, your team will thank you. This is also very useful for Vamps/Werewolves, in that they will be able to resist the Turn Undead effect and other popular FG abilities.
-Invasion
-My preference of a gap closer, as a templar you also have Toppling Charge so these are interchangeable.
ULT-Dawnbreaker of Smiting
-Have you seen the number of Vampires in PvP?? This Ult will knock any unsuspecting Bloodsuckers on their arses.

Bar 2
-Blazing Spear
-Absolute must for any support Templar, with the restore stamina synergy your raid will love you, also a decent cc/aoe
-Extended Ritual
-Self Purge and very large and decent Heal over Time
-Healing Springs
-I use this to get my ULTs up not so much as heals
-Inner Light
-To get that spell crit for the Blazing Spear and Healing Springs
-Efficient Purge
-There are smart PvPers out there, and with smart PvPers there will be oils do your team a favor and keep 'em clean
ULT-Replenishing Barrier
-Very useful when taking a well fortified keep and keeping the ULT points flowing.
That's the build guys don't piss too many people off with it!
