Quest Text:
I met Gadris the Dark Elf and Zur the Khajiit. These two mages share a single body, as their souls were melded at this Vile Laboratory when they arrived in Coldharbour. This soul-meld has weakened them. If they remain combined, they will surely die.

The Dark Elf mage I was talking to transformed into a Khajiit. I should talk to him and get more details about their strange malady.

Steps:
  • Talk to Zur

Find the entrance to The Vile Laboratory and give items to the Soul-Meld Mage.

In order to Squeeze Through the Rubble, get near rubble and go through it like you do with doors.

Read Gadris’ Notebook in the Metallurgy Workshop.

After you read Catalyst Note, collect Corrupted Blood.

Melt the Components and craft the Antipodal Rods.

After you talk with Soul-Meld Mage, find the Power Cystal.

After you place the Crystal, insert Antipodal Rods, you should Choose to restore soul of Zur or Gadris. You do this by pulling right or left Pillar Lever.

    Which one should I pick? Usually I know which one to pick when it comes to “one or the other” decisions… But this time, I don’t know… I like them both… both are unique… which is the right one? And if there I an a right decision, which one is more logical?
