DK Tank + AoE CC DPS
Tank - Charge, Taunt & Survive... avoid knockdowns with Immovable Brute + Congealing Blood for Healing.
AoE CC + DPS - Draw the Mob, Control the Mob, Wipe the Mob.
Straight forward build... Proven effective at Vet 2
FIreMage DK MASSIVE dps
This is MY personal VR12 DK firemage. I tend to have no problems at all in PVP. I VERY rarely die. Believe it or not, the most crucial two abilities to this build are Destro Reach and Burning Talons (obviously). Reach is your way to constantly create distance between you and the enemy in a one on one situation. It also gives them some detrimental downtime in which you will most likely kill them. Great for being in groups in raids. For group raids or mobs you should use mostly your 2nd bar. For solo PVP (which this build is about 90% invincible) you should mostle use 1st bar. At the same time, I find myself using mostly my 2nd bar alot of the time because it has a gap-closer (sheilded assault), and it is used to prevent enemies from escaping.
POSSIBLE REPLACEMENTS BAR 1:
-You can swap Engulf Flames for Unstable Flame
-You can MABYE swap Destro Reach for Obsidian Shard
POSSIBLE REPLACEMENTS BAR 2:
-You can swap Cinder Storm for Deep Breath/Draw Essence
-You can swap Volatile Armor for Petrify
-You can MABYE swap Burning Talons for Eruption (other morph of Ash Cloud)
WEAKNESS....READ THIS IF YOU"RE USING THIS BUILD OR ONE SIMILAR:
This builds GREATEST weakness, the build that has almost never failed to kill the crap outa me, is a high lvl NB...I have discovered over the past couple months that the LAST thing you want to have happen to you as a fire mage DK in PVP is have a vr10-12 NB Dark Cloak to you and use Concealed Weapon/Surprise Attack. This combo will almost definitly crit you, and it knocks you down for a REDICULOUS amount of time. I know this because I also have a vet rank NB and this is the combo I use lol. The only things you can really do is CC break the knockdown, the spam Coag blood until youre at about 75-85% health, then hit talons or destro reach and put some distance in between you and them, then use sheild assault and that might give you the upper hand you need to kill you. The key to killing NB's is to actually stay close to them at all times, because if you put TOO much distance, they will disappear......come back to you.....and murk you dead....
Remember, this is MY main/first build that I have used in ESO since launch. This is not me telling you how to be a DK :) these are just suggestions for low lvl firmage DK's to work towards, and a guideline to base your build off of. I will be posting my NB build very soon. If you looked at this build, thanks for checking it out :) and don't bash my build.....because i PERSONALLY do unbelievably well alllll the time in PVP and PVE :)
DK Solid Debuff Tank build..
Hey all, ok so this is my take on a decent tank build.
1st bar is for trash pulls, the idea here is alot of aoe and also to debuff as many many mobs as possible, reducing damage and helping the dps nuke them down very fast, also a single taunt on there for the harder hitting mobs.
2nd bar is a solid single target boss bar, again the debuffs are there and also solid defensive cooldowns.
Will need to tinker around with me attribute points, I've gone with a pretty even point layout but this is just a theory build so would need to be adjusted as I start to build it.
Will be going 5 heavy and 2 light
Enchantments again will be for stats that I need as I level with the infused trait.
I will update this as I level, but hopefully should be a solid build for PVE.
DK Tank/DPS Sword and Board
This is my current tanking and DPSing build fitted around a pair of Sword and Board weapons. I easily tank v1-5 and a couple V6-10 dungeons at v2.
Fire mage Dragonknight + tanking suvivability
I like to use fire destroy staff to do ranged damage to take out melee mobs then swich to dual wield to pick off any mages or archers, works very effectively in PVE not tried it yet in PVP. NB all heavy armour
Dragonknight HIGH DPS/PVP Build
1st Row for facing single or 2 NPC's in the open
2nd Row for when in tight quarters or facing groups
Dragonknight Tank (Defense)
Setting of the two bars: 1. Bar: OneHandShield| 1.1 Extended Chains |1.2 Ransack |1.3 Burning Talons |1.4 Burning Breath |1.5 Ring of Preservation | 1.U: Magma Shell || 2. Bar: OneHandShield | 2.1 Inner Beast | 2.2 Ransack | 2.3 Absob Magic | 2.4 Volatile Armor | 2.5 Green Dragon Blood | 2.U Standard of Might
No idea why I can´t put Ransack in the second bar as well in this calculator ...
Tank N Tear
Allows for a tanky dragonknight that can switch to his 2H and deal massive amounts of damage.
Okay so there is no “Edit” option.. the “4th skill” meant to be “Ward Ally”, the tool mixed the order of skills up a bit :/
hello
i added 2 builds… well one and a half.
the NIGHT MAGE and the UNDYING BLADE.
i hope some of you like to comment on theese, since its not the old-fashioned and booring DW/Bow-sneaky-creepy-assasin-rouge-style-archetype.
I like my opponents see me comming and my fights long and rewarding.
maybe we find a way to improve it even more, or you see synergies/buffs/things/changes in rotation which i have not.
cheers
playerklaus
Some comments or thoughts on my build for pvp/pve would be great. Thanks!
It’s now the middle of 2017. With the newest content of Morrowwind coming out very soon. Anything for the new builds or monster sets?
