AOE Tank, 2-Handed Nord
This build is for tanking multiple targets while being able to dish out some good damage. Mostly for solo PVE but could be useful in small groups or raiding. Good balance between magicka and stamina, so you do not run out of resources too quickly.
The idea is to run into multiple mobs buff up with Backlash to store up all of their initial damage while your HP is still high while you hit with Punturing Sweep until Backlash runs out and smacks all enemies for a good bit of damage. The enemies should be in quite a bit of pain at this point, but you are probably also nearing 50% or lower HP. At this point you switch to the defensive by using Immovable Brute and Blazing Shield which will nearly double your remaining effective health. By now, your damage output has been tremendously bolstered from the effects of Backlash and Immovable Brute, so you swing away at the remaining targets by rotating between Brawler and Puncturing Sweep, mitigating incoming damage while dealing a considerable amount of AOE damage.
When all is said and done, all enemies are dead and you remain standing with enough HP for another pull.
Templar Tank Build - With Mages Guild
Strong Tank Build with supportive healing for Groups/Raiding. Extremely buffed up with Mages guild, but requires a lot of skills, and very far progression in all trees.
Templar Bulky DPS
I made this build around the basis of PvP. Mobility, control, and cc. I have my second action bar based around long range dps with a spell crit buff (made up for with Breton passives), with the mages guild ult. If an enemy gets too close, or you start to go oom, switch over to your 2H and charge in. Then do a combo of Brawler (for shield), then cc-chain them with another stun from Wrecking Blow. After wrecking blow you now have an increase in damage with your next move, continue your combo with Bitin Jabs. At the end of Biting Jabs, they will be knocked down. Apply your shield and start to kite. As he gets up and starts attacking you, you absorb most damage and spit it back at him. Now you're probably far enough to do some serious damage in your ranged action bar. Rinse and repeat.
Raid Survival Templar Healer
Utilizing wide range healing and making sure allies are debuffed when needed. Also uses the one hand and shield skill line in case the situation demands more survival.
Healing Templar (copy+3 crafts)
Just a Basic Healing Guide with some damaging abilities + Snares. Also includes Provisioning/Alchemy/Enchanting abilities + Breton racials
All-round Templar
this is my second attempt to the build, i had some more hours of game on my back and i have seen a lot of interesting builds both in game and here on the forum.
the build purpose is to create a good all-in-one templar who can both tank and heal pretty good just by switching a couple of spells in his bar and his gear, while still being a viable choice as a 4th member of a group which already have both a tank and a healer (and a real DPS which you are not!), even in that case, a mix of your skills will provide the party with awesome buffs, Heals, CC's and AoE Damage. there are a few points missing because i can't scale the racial skills to 3 points, and i have thought about a couple of active skills i can change when i switch between Roles, (spiked bone shield from undaunted skill tree morph, practiced incantation from restorative light, Immovable Brute from the heavy armor skill tree, Inner Light from mages guild, and crippling slash from one hand and shield). the build is for PvE purposes but with the proper gear its pretty fun to play in AvA aswell, especially in large groups!
just switch your bars, your armor and weapons and you have a fresh new class to play, it never gets boring.
Balanced Tank.
When tanking a dungeon you dont want to go slow, you have to taunt, you require a backup abilty for emergency and a constat free stamina and health regeneration.. Thats why I built this.
First and foremost,
-Ransack is required. (Taunt)
AoE is prudent.
-Puncturing Sweep.
Secure Speed is useful.
-Shielded Assault (Plus health shield).
Emergencies.
Optional (But mine is)
- Radiant Ward. (Ill get real tough for 6 seconds to get all back in control).
Last and not less important.
-Repetenance. (Will allow you to run lighiting fast while tanking the dungeon, activate after each two kills or so)
Too many mobs?
- Empowering Sweep (use it constantly, hence it will be avilable.)
ADVANTAGES:
Great with MANY mobs. Lightning Fast No Need To Stop. Balanced.
CONS:
Not patricualrly designed to confront bosses.
Lack of group healing (Remember, this is healer task... do ur job well, and everything will run smoothly).
*Optional. Change Radiant Ward Emergency ability to Defensive Posture or healing ability.
Okay so there is no “Edit” option.. the “4th skill” meant to be “Ward Ally”, the tool mixed the order of skills up a bit :/
hello
i added 2 builds… well one and a half.
the NIGHT MAGE and the UNDYING BLADE.
i hope some of you like to comment on theese, since its not the old-fashioned and booring DW/Bow-sneaky-creepy-assasin-rouge-style-archetype.
I like my opponents see me comming and my fights long and rewarding.
maybe we find a way to improve it even more, or you see synergies/buffs/things/changes in rotation which i have not.
cheers

Some comments or thoughts on my build for pvp/pve would be great. Thanks!
It’s now the middle of 2017. With the newest content of Morrowwind coming out very soon. Anything for the new builds or monster sets?
