Ultimate Assassin
This is the build I use for my character. It is very effective in both pvp and pve. Venom arrow is especially useful because it interrupts spells and applies strong poison damage. There are lots of sorcerers in pvp I've noticed. For melee, use reaper's mark on player (5), use 4 to go invisible and get up close, then use 3. Stealthed attack adds on damage and 3 will stun them so you should be able to get their health down pretty low. Then use 1 (or 2 if you don't have enough magica) to finish them off. If you're out of magica, switch to the bow and use venom arrow (uses stamina).
Templar Mage DPS/Healer Dual Wield + Resto Staff
This is a Templar healer and damage dealing build. It is difficult to maintain magicka while being a templar because so many of their abilities have a high cost so I have put skill points in light armor and on passives for the class skill lines to reduce the cost of spells and increase effectiveness.
Let's take a look at ability bar 1. When using this build I recommend starting off the fight by using toppling charge from a distance to charge in and stun targets. This is a great way to change straight from ranged combat to melee. Then use blinding furry and blood craze to deal big damage and if you are low on health and have some negative effects upon you, cast extended ritual and use biting jabs as an execute. If you ever need some good AoE, crescent sweep is a low costing ultimate, which allows you to use it often while grinding.
Now onto ability bar 2. This setup has abilities good for range, playing as a support, and of course healing. When opening up use reflective light (great for grinding) to affect up to 3 targets. Then start using dark flare a few times to deal some damage (Remember this is a long cast so if you have taken too much damage while casting, use healing springs to restore your health and magicka). Then you always have extended ritual, rushed ceremony and the ultimate, rememberance to help you and some group members stay alive longer.
Hope you like this build. :)
Sorcerer DPS Destro Staff + Two Handed
This is the sort of build you will like if you are looking for a ranged DPS with lots of AoE. Be sure to put all your attributes in magicka, all skill points in light armor and pick either breton or altmer races for magic bonuses. Not only will you have loads of magicka but the more magicka you have, means much more effectiveness coming from your magicka abilities.
For ability bar 1 use destruction staff, I chose lightning to match the sorcerer abilities. When opening up in combat start off with crystal fragments, a knockdown along with 35% chance to make an instant cast. Then start using lightning flood to dish out some massive damage in a wide radius, then get in close and use unstable wall of elemants and elemental ring to finish them off. If a target is on low health get into execute mode and spam mage's wrath. Whenever there are large groups of targets for grinding use the ultimate power overload which has a wide range for heavy attacks.
Now onto ability bar 2. This bar is full of abilities great for support. When in combat, magnum shot is awesome when you want to keep a distance from your foe(s). Then use daedric tomb to set up a line of mines which arm instantly, then use acid spray to do solid damage and add poison effects. Try to get target(s) to follow you and get trapped in the mines. If enemies are on low health then get into execute mode.
Hope you like this build. :)
Nightblade Bow + Dual Wield DPS Stamina Build
This is my first nightblade and my first stamina build. When using this build I recommend selecting either wood elf or khajiit, to increase xp gain for bow or medium armor skill lines (depending on which race you choose) and they have stealth benefits and both the races make a great stamina-based DPS.
Ability bar 1 is mainly for range. When opening up in combat start off with a heavy attack while crouching. While sneaking with a bow the damage is increased with a stealth attack rather than a normal heavy attack. If the target is using a melee weapon use magnum shot to keep your distance. Then use acid spray to do poison damage and snare targets. If you are low on health use swallow soul to deal damage and restore health. Then use poison injection and impale as executes. The soul magic ultimate, shatter soul is great on bosses. It deals massive damage, snares and when a target is killed, it explodes and deals damage to nearby enemies.
Now onto ability bar 2, dual wielding. Now to start off use ambush to teleport and strike your target, this is an effective way of getting from range straight to melee. Then use rending slashes to snare the target and then use steel tornado to affect multiple enemies, then you have blinding flurry to have a chance to set targets off balance, because it is quick it can function as an execute but impale can be done quicker and from a small range.
Hope you like this build. :)
Sorcerer Tank/DPS 1H-Shield + 2H
Here I will show you a sorcerer tank. I highly recommend selecting the races of Nord, Orc, Redguard or Imperial to give bonus in xp gain for one-hand and shield, two handed and heavy armor skill lines (depending on which race you choose). But if you would like a magic bonus I recommend choosing breton or altmer.
Let's have a look at ability bar 1, one hand and shield. To open up in combat use shielded assault to charge in, stun and adds damage shield. Use bound aegis for increased armor then use lightning flood for some solid damage and wide AoE. Then use reverberating bash to stun target and reduce enemies' weapon damage. Then use endless fury to execute enemies.
Ability bar 2 is about dealing tons of damage. To start off use explosive curse from a distance and then use stampede to charge in on the target and immobilize. That way you can give the curse some time to end and explode, effecting nearby enemies. Then use dizzying swing to stun target and knock back. Then use lightning flood and endless fury to finish the enemies off.
Okay so there is no “Edit” option.. the “4th skill” meant to be “Ward Ally”, the tool mixed the order of skills up a bit :/
hello
i added 2 builds… well one and a half.
the NIGHT MAGE and the UNDYING BLADE.
i hope some of you like to comment on theese, since its not the old-fashioned and booring DW/Bow-sneaky-creepy-assasin-rouge-style-archetype.
I like my opponents see me comming and my fights long and rewarding.
maybe we find a way to improve it even more, or you see synergies/buffs/things/changes in rotation which i have not.
cheers
playerklaus
Some comments or thoughts on my build for pvp/pve would be great. Thanks!
It’s now the middle of 2017. With the newest content of Morrowwind coming out very soon. Anything for the new builds or monster sets?
