Bellow you will find the ESO Sorcerer talent calculator tool. Sorcerer is a ranged magic user that can go for DPS, crowd control or summoning daedric minions to fight for you. You will most likely want to increase your magicka pool and go for light armor because it provides magicka regeneration bonuses. Using the skill calculator tool bellow you can try and find other ways to build your Sorcerer. The point is to have your build match your play style. If you are more about pure damage dealing you might go for Storm Calling. If you feel that you need something to soak up the damage – get those daedric minions via Daedric Summoning. You miss stuns in PvP? Try Dark Magic. Whatever your skill path is make sure you save it bellow and share it with the world.
ESO Sorcerer skill calculator has been updated with Morrowind PTS 3.0 data. This will help you plan out new builds for ESO: Morrowind DLC. Take note that all of the data comes from the beta server and may change as we get closer to the release on live. We’ll make sure to update the talent calculator with new data as it becomes available, and you try and update your build accordingly.
Morrowind Update: ESO Sorcerer skill calculator has been updated with Morrowind live server 3.0.5 data.
Baldnord's "Daedric Master" Leveling Build
Hi folks this is the closest thing to a Conjuring build that I could come up with in ESO. This build is pretty much complete (as far as active skills go) by the time you hit level 15. It is primarily designed for solo leveling while remaining viable as a DPS while grouping. It focuses on high survivability. You may notice that 3 of the same skills are on both weapon sets action bars. This is because the only way to keep sustained spells (pets/buffs) up while switching between both weapons sets, is to keep those abilities slotted in the exact same spots on both bars. Otherwise, the moment you switch; your pets and armor buff go "Poof".
The order to attack is as follows:
Basic rotation: Curse, Crystal Shard, Heavy attack with staff if low on magicka, repeat.
Groups: I usually curse the first target which my pets will always go attack first. I then follow up by crystal shards on a second target followed with a soul trap, and focus that one down. If there is a third mob in the group I'm strafing away from it while I finish focusing down the 2nd target. I'll take some hits, but thanks to the added surviability of Daedric armor and the 10% heal from Soul Trap; I'm normally near full health when I turn to focus on the 3rd mob. Not to mention my pets are normally finished with the first mob by this time and helping me with the third.
With daedric or undead mobs, I work silver bolt into the rotation as it is clearly the superior attack against them (CC and a chance to inflict massive, usually lethal damage? Yes please!).
Don't foget to use that Atronach when fighting elites or groups of 3+ enemies. He eats through normal mob's and provides a nice boost to DPS on elites.
Keep your staff up to date! In long fights, like elites or against bosses in dungeons, you'll be wanting to work in some heavy attacks to sustain your DPS while your magicka pool replenishes. Having a staff 3+ levels lower then you will usually give you a lower damage output.
Passives:
Light armor passives for magicka regen and spell cost reduction are essential. With 30% of your magicka pool reserved to sustain your pets and armor, you want these passives! The rest of the Light armor passives are all good in my opinion as they all add increased survivability through increased spell resist or improved damage through crit/bypassing spell resist. Other good passive that I go with are "Power Stone" and "Daedric Protection" in the Daedric Summoning tree, which lowers ultimate cost of your atronach and increases health regeneration respectively. Lastly, I always recommend the "Soul Summons" passive in the Soul Magic tree to give you a free rez if you happen to fall in battle.
**edit**
Please not that you must have the pets and Daedric armor skill slotted in the exact same spots to keep them from dropping while switching between weapon sets. This site isn't showing the build slotted in the way I entered it for some reason.
