Nightblade talent calculator, you can find bellow, will help you find the best build to match your playstyle as this, mostly, DPS class. Nightblade is the only class that has a vanish skill that lets you get out of sticky situation or prepare your most devastating attacks. Assassination Nightblades will be all about dealing damage (or buffing themselves to do the most damage). Shadow is the skill line you want to follow if you want to get utility abilities that will make you vanish and do the most damage while surprising your enemies. Siphoning is more about DOTs and leaching health. Great for weakening mobs while staying alive. Whether you use a bow, daggers or other means of dealing damage to your enemies, Nightblade’s skill will help you dispose of them the fastest. Pick and choose skills bellow and save them so others can see your preferred playstyle.

2H/Bow Redguard Nightblade
This build functions well for leveling through vet ranks, soloing, group play in PVE and PVP. 2H is utilized for 3 or more AOE fighting while the bow is setup for single target encounters. Armor is 5M/2H to take advantage of stam regen and stealth abilities with medium armor while adding some survivability with a couple of heavy armor pieces.
Each skill bar has a swing ability that can be swapped out depending on encounter. The Rally ability can be swapped out for more healing with Refreshing Path or even Silver Shards if more AOE dps is required. Likewise Swallow Soul can be swapped out on the Bow skill bar with Bombard for more control, especially nice in PVP or Silver Shards for those daedra encounters.
Flawless Dawnbreaker is really a key Ultimate for both bars because of the passive weapon damage. The 2H is mostly based on control and survivability with 3 or more targets so white damage needs to be high and that is achieved with the passives from Flawless Dawnbreaker, Power Extraction and Rally. In the Bow skill set, the Flawless Dawnbreaker passive weapon damage offsets the loss when Leeching Strikes is engaged. Leeching Strikes makes solo boss encounters so much easier. You can literally leave that turned on and wear a boss down while you heal yourself and regen stam and magika throughout the entire encounter. Switching to 2H if any mobs are summoned.
Lastly I chose to play a Redguard for the Stamina regen and find this build really meshes well with their racial abilities.
