ESO Morrowind Ancestral Tombs Locations

Ancestral Tombs are sacred burial grounds in ESO Morrowind. The “Ancestral Tombs Hunter” general achievement worth 50 points is given to those that collect them all, and hand the quest back to Librarian Bradyn. There is even a quest that starts to introduce you to this subject, but the objective only marks one of the tomb locations. Other than the achievement points, you’ll gain additional experience points for the two quests, as well as some juicy prizes. Librarian Bradyn Location

Librarian Bradyn is found in the Library of Vivec. This library is located in the southern part of Vivec City, just north from the Shrine and its Wayshrine. Go through the doors at the ground floor and talk with Librarian Bradyn. He will give you the quest: “The Ancestral Tombs”.

This quest will lead you to the Othrelas Ancestral Tomb Plaque, number 13 on the list. Once you take the rubbing from the Plaque, and return it to Librarian Bradyn, he will inform you about the existence of 29 more tombs.

All 30 Ancestral Tombs Map Locations

All thirty Tombs have unique names that represent a part of Vvardenfell. You can either collect them all in one go, or pick up the ones you’ve missed later on. Before you head to the hunt, keep in mind that you need free inventory slots for each tomb, as you take rubbing off of them. You don’t need to speak with Librarian Bradyn 30 times though, once will be enough if you have them all.

4	Salothran	North from nearby West Gash Wayshrine.
5	Telvayn	In the field, next to a small white mushroom and a tree.
6	Uveran	In the area of the group boss, the entrance is from the northeastern side.
7	Norvayn	Alongside the muddy road, next to a red plant.
8	Tharys	Across from Balmora stable, several steps away from the southeastern entrance.
9	Heran	Where the river meets the sea, next to a tall tree.
10	Lleran	Close to the road, next to a large tree and the candles.
11	Thelas	Between two large trees, hidden from the nearby sea by a large rock.
12	Sarano	Close to the road, down the slope, next to the bonfire.
13	Othrelas	Next to the shore, close to the bridge.
14	Aran	Alongside the road, at the bottom of a large rock formation.
15	Velas	At the bottom of some black boulders, its entrance is covered with three small mushrooms.
16	Releth	In the southern part of a small island, close to the water and a tall, large mushroom.
17	Raviro	Close to the main road that takes you to Molag Mar towards the east.
18	Redas	In the eastern part of a small forest plateau.
19	Arano	South from Tel Branora Wayshrine, close to the sea.
20	Hlervu	On top of a hill, hidden from the sea by the rocks.
21	Maren	West from the path lamp post, at the bottom of a tall hill.
22	Arenim	Facing towards the water, close to the several tall mushrooms.
23	Serano	On a tall hill, hidden away by the many large boulders.
24	Andas	A small path from the shore leads to it.
25	Verelnim	Facing the sea, at the bottom of a tall boulder.
26	Ieneth	Hidden from a nearby road by the large rock formation.
27	Sadryon	North from Sadrith Mora settlement and its Wayshrine, close to some tall, weird-looking fungi.
28	Venim	On a tiny hill, inside a small forest.
29	Nerano	On a small hill, close to a rather large but short mushroom.
30	Favel	East from Valley of the Wind Wayshrine, facing towards the nearby settlement.

Once you collect them all, speak with Librarian Bradyn and give them all in. He will give you the next quest called “Lost Library“. This quest takes you on an interesting journey that the 30 plaque rubbings from the tombs started. The additional prize comes in the furnishing Vvardenfell scale model.
