PVP Sustain Tank
Concept:
With the numerous nerfs to the Dragonknight tanking in PVP is pretty tough and the nerf to stamina regen while blocking makes it even harder.
Battle Spirit has made Dragons Blood a very below average self heal, so keeping ones self alive in the face of superior numbers is harder than ever before.
This build is a concept that I will be testing with the goal being to face tank 3-4 enemies. If the ability to lay waste to dozens of enemies using superior damage is what you're looking for, this isn't for you.
Healing.... The key to this build is the synergy between Quick Recovery (increased healing received) & Blessed(increase your healing done) perks in the champion system and the buffs from Igneous Shield(increase healing done by 30%) & Coagulating Blood(increase healing received by 8%). Your main heal will be Draw Essence. Rapid Regen & Vigor will be your HoTs. Because Draw Essence "steals life" from upto three enemies, this build is optimal for face tanking 3-4 enemies.
Gear:
4/5 x Willows Path
4 x Oblivions Foe
3 x Will Power
For enchants you want to aim for as many health/tri stat enchants as you can while still having a functional amount of Magicka & Stamina.
For traits you'll want at least one piece of Nirnhoned and 2-3 pieces of Reinforced. The defending trait would be optimal for your weapons and Reinforced for your shield.
Stats:
The main goal is to have as much Magicka, Stamina & Health recovery as possible and all attribute points into Health. Either tri stat or Mag/Stam regen drink will be optimal. It's true that food would give you a larger health pool, regen is key to your survival in any 1vX situation.
You need to aim for 32-35k Physical/Spell Resistance while buffed.... this is really important with the nerf to stamina regen while blocking.... You need to be able to soak up/heal through a lot of damage without anchoring your finger down on the right mouse button.
With any PVP build you must have some outgoing damage to put at least a little pressure on your enemy and that's where your resto bar comes in.....Use Fosilize whenever your opponent isn't CC immune(you want to force them into burning all their stam) and get the whip going, keep doing a full heavy attack whenever possible to sustain your magicka pool. When you are ready to finish them off.... Fosilize->Shooting Star->Dragon Scales(nothing worse than eating your own Meteor)->Whip->Whip->....etc.
I'm keen on any feedback or hearing how this goes for anyone.
Hell healer
MEant to be used in group pvp and pve
Group healer
1st bar is primary healing. I use Healing springs for general healing, because of its low cost and wide effect. Mutagen for healing over time, and vigor because it draws healing from stamina. Breath of life for emergencies and Remembrance for those oh sh#@ moments. Steadfast ward and its morph are essential, it's basically a life saver. The second bar is mostly utility, luminous shards to keep your dps and tank with stamina, and blood alter is nice because it allows other players to heal themselves (and also draws from stamina). Equilibrium is nice to keep your magic flowing, I switch between barrier and war horn for my second ultimate depending on the fight. Barrier can be more useful than remembrance in certain situations, especially if you can predict big hits from bosses. I really focus on keeping up healing over time, spamming healing springs and vigor for most of the healing. I've found that it is much easier to sustain many low cost heals instead of waiting for allies to get hit and trying to heal them back up.
Personal 2H/Bow DK Build
Just my personal DK build with skills I like and think are usefull. Improvement recommendations welcome!
BigBizket
Untested idea for super tank, with quick heal and burst damege.
Okay so there is no “Edit” option.. the “4th skill” meant to be “Ward Ally”, the tool mixed the order of skills up a bit :/
hello
i added 2 builds… well one and a half.
the NIGHT MAGE and the UNDYING BLADE.
i hope some of you like to comment on theese, since its not the old-fashioned and booring DW/Bow-sneaky-creepy-assasin-rouge-style-archetype.
I like my opponents see me comming and my fights long and rewarding.
maybe we find a way to improve it even more, or you see synergies/buffs/things/changes in rotation which i have not.
cheers
playerklaus
Some comments or thoughts on my build for pvp/pve would be great. Thanks!
It’s now the middle of 2017. With the newest content of Morrowwind coming out very soon. Anything for the new builds or monster sets?
