Dragonknight Tank/DPS 1H - Shield + Destruction Staff
This DK build is my favorite build in ESO. Because this build uses no armor but heavy, a lot of attributes need to be spent in magicka. The weapons I chose, One-Hand and Shield as it is the best weapon skill line to use to be a tank, and destruction staff (Preferably flame).
Let's take a look at ability bar 1. When using a melee weapon I find it important to always have a charge up ability to get you started off in combat. That is why I included Invasion in the ability bar. After using Invasion as a start up use dragon fire scales to repel enemy attacks. This is very handy in not only questing and grinding, but also PvP and PvE. Then use deep slash which deals physical damage and reduces the damage enemies deal. Then use draw essence and then use light attacks to restore some magicka. Then it is time for flame lash, to finish off your target.
Ability bar 2 is all about damage while also healing yourself a bit. Start off with burning talons to root in place and then it is time for AoE. Use engulfing flames first to increase your next flame attacks, then use elemental blockade and elemental ring. During the process if you have taken too much damage from ranged attackers cast coagulating blood.
I hope you like this build. :)
Fire Savant (Two-Handed & Inferno Staff DPS with Survivability ...And crafting)
This is my build for my main character. She's a Battlemage, who wields Two-Handed Swords and casts fire magick via fire spells and Flame staff.
My goal here was to make a character, who can withstand fair amounts of damage with high armor and spell resistance and also deal heavy amounts of damage with Fire spells. She wears 3 light armor pieces and 4 heavy armor pieces.
And also crafting skills, because I wanted to have some crafting with my first character... and also because I love the crafting in this game (I might be a little Craft-a-holic).
I'm not 100% sure yet if this is the best I can get with this build, and I need more experience with the game. If you are interested with the build, and can provide feedback with different skill variations, then by all means leave a comment to help this build get even better.
PvP sneaky battle healer
Let me start by saying this build is NOT to be used for offensive, this is a dedicated healer/buff giver, any time you see a confrontation, either 1v1 or a group battle gone wrong, you go into sneak and hide, your resurrection passives make you far more valuable to hide out of sight, wait for enemies to pass and resurrect any people that have died,
the skills you see are what i use, but if you like, you may change radiant ward for immovability in the heavy armour skill line, both have benefits.
this build can ofcourse also be used in PvE by changing seige weapon shield to purifying light, an absolute must skill for any PvE arsenal, its technically not offensive but still makes you a power house of a dps given the damage on other dps roles in the group, you would also change the untimate reviving barrier to solar prison in the dawn's wrath skill line,
certain rotations i might use for PvP would be extended ritual followed closely by mutagen/radiant arua, adding on restoring focus at the end, this i use if im in a safe place to heal, as restoring focus limits your movement by quite abit, but anyone inside of extended ritual, followed by you being inside of restoring focus, recieve and additional 30% healing ontop of your normal amount, allowing you to use healing springs and mutegen very effectively essentially nullifying the need for the burst heal.
im sorry if the descriptions are abit crude, this is my first post, but if you have any questions you'd like to ask, or even some criticism on what you think works better, please let me know and i will get back to as soon as i can :) thank you for taking the time to read my first build.
Hunter high DPS
This build can be used for PVE and PVP. You can take down enemies with your bow before they can reach you because with Acid Spray you can slow them down and almost every shot deals poisen damage over time so they will take more damage on their way to you (if they dont have a bow on their own ore if your enemies are magicans). If they ones reach your point you can jump away with Magnum Shot and kill them with Lethal Arrow. If you fight strong enemies you should use Swallow Soul because you get healed over time and then hold him on distance.
If you are surrounded by enemies you must swich the bar. With Whirling Blades you can deal some nice AoE damage and with Shadowy Disuise you can run away (but hurry it will just last for alsmost 3 seconds) or deal some hard damage with Surprise Attack out of this ability. If some magican or enemie with a bow bothers you, just use Ambush to port at him and take him down with Killers Blade and your standard hits.
Im using this build right from the beginning and I have to say that Im doing well with it. I hope that you will like it as much as I do and if you have ideas for changing please just write them down.
Swordmaster
1st bar is defensive in nature, used to survive multiple attackers & to apply DOTs & debuffs to prepare for a damage rush, use brawler & fire scales frequently to build ultimate, gain damage shield & protect against ranged attacks.
When your ready to go on the offensive just use fossilize to attack your targets recourse regeneration, throw out obsidian shard to stun then swap to bar 2.
Bar 2 is a high pressure high damage bar, after swapping from bar 1 you should have a second or 2 left from the last stun, so in that time use Rally & Immovable brute to buff, remembering to weave in light attacks to keep up the damage.
At this point your target will most likely try to heal or CC you, with Immovable you've got 9 seconds to try & burn them down, unless they are smart then they should start to run low on recourses thx to Fossilize. Use your Standard of Might, then a Wrecking Blow followed by a Critical Rush & just spam Flame Lash to finish off any remaining health.
You could always swap out Flame Lash for Executioner & be even more effective at Finishing off someone on low health but then you'd be entirely dependent on stamina on your 2nd bar & you'd have less self healing making you more vulnerable.
I use 5 medium & 2 heavy for armour, so I get full benefit with stamina & attack speed from medium while still boosting melee damage by 2% (4% with Immovable) from the heavy armour.
I find this build devastating against full tank DKs as it eats away at their stamina & once that's gone, so is the DK. Its also a surprise attack monster as Wrecking blow from stealth does massive damage & when followed up by a critical rush either kills or puts your target in a position where 1 more attack will finish them.
Happy hunting.
Redguard Templar Balanced Tank, Healer, DPS, Stunner and even a Crafter !!!
I used a Redguard for this build, but an Imperial or Breton should work nice. A Nord will be capable of this build too but you should change the shield to two handed sword and It will serve more as a DPS. I'm building a balanced build here.
I use all pieces of heavy armor with reinforced trait, the enchantments is up to you. I use some food that make my health and stamina stronger. I use Ashen Grip set with some Wind set so I have some additional stats and cool fire - breathing action. I'm a blacksmith and a woodworker to supply my gears.
As you can see, the skills have good capabilites of Stunning (Main Thing in this build), some instant damage dealer, Snares (Also a good thing), Burning (I mostly use this for vampires, werewolf and daedras), and some healing capabilities.
Power Slam, Invasion, Magnum Shot, and Bombard is a good stunning combo if used well. Use Magnum > Invasion > Normal attacks until it wake up > Power Slam > Scatter Shot > Bombard > Invasion. Lots of stun and stamina right ? That's why I choose Redguard, their passive have stamina restoring ability every 3 SEC ??? How could you run out of stamina ???
Puncturing Sweep is good for Knockbacks and healing yourself, you can't get killed if you spam that skill. Healing Ritual is used for group healing if they need it, and Reflective Light and Dark Flare is good for Snaring and dealing Fire damage, especially if your enemy is vampire which is so common today,
I use the Empowering Sweep for difficult times and Solar Disturbance for even a DAMN difficult times.
With this build, you will need to balance some things. I balanced stamina and mana, but I use some food to make stamina more than mana. I balanced spell resistance with magicka and have overcharged armor so I'm basically good at fighting both Magic and Physical heroes. Because I'm a Heavy Armored Redguard, I have the best Stamina regeneration, good Health and Magicka regenerations.
VERY RECOMMENDED FOR PvE, but maybe good with one on one PvP.
THANKS A LOT GUYS FOR READING THIS
-HolyHawk
bow and dual axes 2 peices heavy 5 peices medium lots of magicka enchants
use the bow to trap people at a distance and deal lots of aoe damage and use dual axes as up close for dps
Okay so there is no “Edit” option.. the “4th skill” meant to be “Ward Ally”, the tool mixed the order of skills up a bit :/
hello
i added 2 builds… well one and a half.
the NIGHT MAGE and the UNDYING BLADE.
i hope some of you like to comment on theese, since its not the old-fashioned and booring DW/Bow-sneaky-creepy-assasin-rouge-style-archetype.
I like my opponents see me comming and my fights long and rewarding.
maybe we find a way to improve it even more, or you see synergies/buffs/things/changes in rotation which i have not.
cheers

Some comments or thoughts on my build for pvp/pve would be great. Thanks!
