Ask Us Anything: Roleplay

The world of The Elder Scrolls in ripe with role playing opportunities, with it’s massive landscape and extensive world giving players the backdrop they need for pretty much any sort of adventure you could imagine. The development team took it upon themselves to try and answer some of these questions in this week’s installment of “Ask Us Anything”. Continue reading to see the whole article for yourself, and fill us in on what kind of RP adventures you’re looking forward to having in Tamriel! Continue reading

The Scamp: Proving Deadly Things Can Come In Small Packages

There are many, many different creatures in Tamriel that can’t wait for an unlucky adventurer to come along and provide them with their next meal. And while there are many large creatures capable of crushing you underfoot, sometimes it’s the small ones that are the best at tearing you to shreds. Case and point, the Scamp

Players of past Elder Scrolls games will recognize the Scamp for the annoying little Deadra that it is, and the team at Zenimax wanted to make sure these little demons have big personalities in their upcoming title. To show off these creatures, and the work that went into creating them, the ESO team has released another installment in their “Creating ESO” series. Q&A Session With Paul Sage At MMORPG.COM

Last night Paul Sage, Creative Director for ESO, held a live Q&A session with fans over at the MMORPG.com forums. There is a couple pages worth of questions and answers on a plethora of topics such as character creation, different skill sets, and wether players will be able to enjoy solo ESO play on the same level as big group play.

You can check out all the questions and answers for yourself here.

Dungeon Questions Answered

In the most recent “Ask Us Anything” article the ESO development team decided to take some questions on a subject everyone wants to know a little more about;dungeons. No Elder Scrolls game would be complete without a ton of different caves, tombs, and other interesting areas to explore and loot for treasure, and given the size and scope of this game it is a safe bet that there will be more areas to explore than in any previous Elder Scrolls title.

Given that this is a different style of Elder Scrolls game than ever before there are a few questions as to how the dungeons will work. Can they be attempted by a solo player? Will there be lock out timers? Will we ever discover cookies at the end of  creepy cave? All these questions, and more, are answered in the full article.
