Learn About PvP and Cyrodil in This Week’s “Ask Us Anything”

The developers of The Elder Scrolls Online give us another peek into the world of TESO in yet another edition of ‘Ask Us Anything”. This week is all about Cyrodil and PvP, how big the map is, deploying siege weapons in combat, PvP ranks and titles, and much more. Creating The Keeps of Cyrodil

The keeps in The Elder Scrolls Online will play a pivotal role in the war between the three groups seeking to control Cyrodil; namely the Ebonheart Pact, Daggerfall Covenant, and Aldmeri Dominion. Players will do battle with each other to gain control of the various keeps throughout the land, thereby granting a greater percentage of control to their specific faction. The areas will be chock full of chances for some epic PvP encounters, so players interested in testing their mettle against others will likely see themselves spending a bunch of time assaulting the various keeps dotting the Cyrodil landscape.

With that in mind, you can now take a look at the creation of these keeps. This is one of your first chances to take a look at these keeps and start ironing out some sort of plan to assault these keeps and lead your faction to victory in the war for Cyrodil. Building Your Character

The ESO team has put together a wonderful little video showcasing the character development process players will have access to in The Elder Scrolls Online. They discuss different ways to gain experience points, how skills grow, how using different equipment gives you access to different skills, and even touch on the ability to become a werewolf or a vampire.

Take A Closer Look At Tamriel With A New Map

With The Elder Scrolls Online players will be able to explore more of Tamriel than they ever been able to before. There will be a ton of locations to explore and new secrets to uncover, plenty to keep any die hard Elder Scrolls fan busy. With that in mind you now have a chance to get an early look at some of the places you will be exploring, and a little info on what you might find there, with the new interactive map now up on the official ESO site.

The map lets you take a look a screenshots, concept art, journal entries, and more. The map itself will continue to be updated as the game nears its completion, so be sure to check back periodically for new info. And be sure to let us know what you think of the new map in the comments below!

Creating The Werewolf

 

The werewolf is one of the most recognizable and iconic creatures in the Elder Scrolls games. Not only are they deadly enemies, but players are often granted the ability to become the mighty beasts themselves. So it should come to no surprise that many players are very interested to see how werewolves will play a part in the upcoming Elder Scrolls Online. And while we still don’t know about any sort of story role the creatures might play, we can take a look at how they were created.
