West Of Firebrand, Deep Beneath The Tower Skyshard

Guide:
Found inside Portdun Watch solo dungeon. Dungeon’s entrance can be found inside a tower close to the south wall of Firebrand Keep. Marked on Stormhaven map is the entrance into the dungeon and in the screenshots you can find the exact location of the collectible.

As you reach the last boss of the dungeon (seen on the left in the screenshot above) you will find the skyshard to your right.

Explore The Ruins Of Broken Marrow Skyshard

Guide:
Inside Public dungeon Bonesnap Ruins. This is a rather hard dungeon to solo and bringing friends would make finding this skyshard much easier. There are several mini bosses available with the final boss of the instance being fun to deal with. I managed to stealth through some of the pulls, just barely. Marked on the interactive map is the entrance into the public dungeon, while shard’s location is shown on a screenshot bellow.

Bonesnap Ruins entrance is hidden among wooden scaffolding.

Skyshard is hidden all the way to the west of the dungeon, behind a big pull of several mobs.

Exact location of the shard inside Bonesnap Ruins. I managed to miss this spot on my first runthrough of the dungeon.

Beta Screenshots, Sheogorath, PvE and PvP Video

Here’s another batch of media we recorded during our 72 hour session of Elder Scrolls Online playing during the last beta. I learned how to remove the UI so I have some nicer screenshots that you can even use as desktop backgrounds if you like. This time we have fewer screenshots, but we also prepared something special for Elder Scrolls fans. Time for some Sheogorath goodness. This was always my favorite Daedric prince and I recorded the conversation I had with him the first time I came across him in ESO. Cheese and cabbage for everyone! There is also a PvE video of ending a long quest chain that includes killing a werewolf called Faolchu The Reborn. For the end we have 11 minutes of pure PvP madness in Cyrodiil. That guy at 10:41 almost gave me a hearth attack.

There are several chat options you can access by clicking the gear icon in the upper-right of the chat window. This allows you to adjust the font size, the chat channels you see, and more. Here are some common chat commands:

Corpses From Another Age Walk Here Skyshard

Guide:
Inside the Wansalen solo dungeon in northeastern Auridon, north from the Quendeluun Wayshrine. In order to reach the area where the Quendeluun Ayleid Ruins POI is located, go north from the Quendeluun Wayshrine. There is a hidden tunnel that will take you to the Quendeluun Ruins area and the dungeon itself.

The shard is well hidden inside the dungeon. It is located within a flooded cave tunnel that connects two of the largest rooms. Inside this tunnel you should notice a small, hidden room, just beside the large metal door. The shard is inside this room.

It is found just north from the nearby Wayshrine.

The shard’s map location appears like it is inside the wrong tunnel. You want to aim for the flooded one.

Watching The Sky In A Tower Of Swords Skyshard

Guide:
Located inside the Fighters Guild building in Skywatch

You can see the shard up on the balcony as you approach the fighters Guild building in Skywatch.

Map location of entrance to Fighters Guild

Get up on the first floor and you will see the shard shining on the balcony.

Ancient Chamber Of Golden Glow Skyshard

Guide:
In northwestern central Auridon, inside the Bewan solo dungeon, close to the town of Dawnbreak.

Like the other Auridon dungeons, this one has experienced changes as well, which also goes for the location of the shard hidden inside its cave. The shard is now located in the most southeastern part of the dungeon, inside the room with the large pool of water. You can also find four Snake statues inside this room – a perfect place for serpent worship.

Izad’s Treasure

Level:
4

Zone:
Stros M’Kai

Quest Text:
I dug up a chest by the shipwreck near Saintsport. It contained a shovel and directions written by a Captain Izad. It supposedly contains clues to a treasure buried on Stros M’Kai.

First objective:
I should read the letter from the buried chest.

Steps:
  • Read the Sealed Letter
Guide:
This quest takes you on a very interesting treasure hunt. You need to follow the directions and solve several puzzles on your way to finding the loot. Screenshot guide bellow will help you every step of the way.

Screenshot Walkthrough

Captain Izad’s instructions on how to find the treasure.

Objective 1.

Find the Start of the Trail

You need to stand on top of Saintsport’s Star. This is in fact a lighthouse north of Saintsport’s village.

Objective 2.

Find the Warrior

Quest hint says that he is “NW of the Shrine Past the Eternal Sentinel’s Gate”. Shrine, refereed to in the hint, is actually the Port Hunding Wayshrine just west of the city. Walk NW of it and you will find the warrior.

Objective 3.

Walk 45 Paces South fro the Statue

Just go straight south and you should get the next objective as you reach the road out of Port Hunding

Map location of where 45 steps south take you.

Objective 4.

Find the Island of Iron Faces

In-game hint says that “The Leftward Palms Frame the Sight”. From the road you are on go towards the water. If you look at the map you will see three little islands in the Port Hunding’s bay. You need to get to the middle one

Objective 5.

Find the Stone Ship

Hint for this step is a bit vague, but basically you need to find a rock formation seen on the screenshot above. The way you would do this is follow the imaginary line that a rock on the island is pointing toward (keeping in mind that the line needs to go through the broken ship in the distance)

Objective 6.

Dig Beneath the Leaves in the Ship’s Port

Standing on the stone ship and looking at its port you will see a few palm trees in the distance. Good a place as any to start digging.

(disclaimer: this was the reward during the beta – things might have changed by launch)

ESO Cyrodiil Skyshards

Cyrodiil is the main PvP map in Elder Scrolls Online, but as every zone in ESO it also contains Skyshards. There are 45 shards in Cyrodiil, fifteen for each faction. We have been hunting for these because they provide a great way to increase your skill points pool. They are separated by faction in your Achievements so we provided created guides for each faction, but you can collect all of them if you are lucky enough to avoid enemy players and defenses. Some of these Skyshards are well hidden or protected by very tough enemies so if you are planning on venturing into hostile territory or public dungeons you might consider bringing a few friends along. We managed to find almost all of them and you can find them at:

1. Cyrodiil Aldmeri Dominion Skyshards
2. Cyrodiil Daggerfall Covenant Skyshards
3. Cyrodiil Ebonheart Pact Skyshards

We managed to collect most of these solo, but those closest to faction’s home bases are impossible to get unless you are fully dominating the battlefield or have a raid coming along to claim the Skyshards. Even with that in mind you can collect a good number of shards and skill points by devoting some time to adventuring through Cyrodiil.

Wedged Well In Sedor Skyshard

Guide:
Northeastern Cyrodiil, just west of Kingscrest Keep.

Skyshard is situated in Sedor Ayleid Ruins. You should look for a small stone wall, one tall stone arch and one wrecked arch to lead you to this location. There might be couple of enemies defending the main part of ruins, where our collectible is at. Approach this part of Ruins from the northeast. Keep hugging the wall. This way you will not pull the nearby enemies. Sedor Ayleid Ruins is really close to a nearby main road. If you are part of a faction that doesn’t hold the nearby keep, you should be more aware of hostile players. This area is really close to The Ebonheart Pact starting Cyrodiil position.
