Savannah

A dual wielding Redguard Nightblade. I usually equip two swords and a bow and wear medium armor. I enjoy sneaking as well. Minimal spells, with about 2/3 points into stamina and 1/3 into health. For crafting I want to become somewhat skilled at making what I'll use most: bows, swords, and medium armour. I'm a DPSer of course. : )

2H Crit Siphon Tank

First off this build strongly revolves around light and heavy attacks. Using both Critical Surge and Rally to buff Weapon Damage and Bound Armaments to further buff Heavy Attacks and Armor. This Sorceress is kept alive using 5med/2heavy utilizing the %crit chance from medium armor to fuel Critical Surge heals from Stampede and all other weapon crits. Keeping Degeneration active on targets will give a 15% of all light and heavy attacks to heal for %115 of their damage. Also Thundering Presence will assist in addition armor and spell resistance. For CC and Utility we have Stampede for gap closing, Dizzying Swing for stun and weaken debuff, Restraining Prison for CC, and Ball of Lightning for gap closing/escape/ranged attack mitigation. Skill set 1 is the set up, containing the two buffs, ranged debuff and Stampede to begin assaulting, swith to set 2 to control the fight with dizzying Swing and Restraining Prison. Damage mitigation comes from Thundering Presence, and Ball of lighting for retreat and ranged protection. ALSO because I have seen alot of builds without this I must note, Bound Armaments must exsist on both bars to persist when swapping. Ultimates are Power overload for the obvious benefits effecting our already buffed light and heavy attacks, and Absorption Field to protect from casters as well as assist in cc and health siphoning.

Well Rounded DK

Mainly use dual wielding blades for your first path which focuses on stamina based attacks. For secondary, a fire staff is used to get you away from the battle if needed, with 2 attacks to help regenerate magika since you don't have as much. This build would go best with the dunmer (dark elf)

Multi-purpose "Toothpick Templar"

I've been using this build since launch with great success. It's just a basic Heavy Armor Templar build, where most damage comes from Puncturing Sweeps, which have lovingly been adopted by the community as "Toothpicks". The ability is very powerful, spammable, can crit (especially with the "Burning Light" Aedric Spear passive), and interrupts. It slices! It dices! It chops!

Most engagements begin with a charge ability (I chose two handed weapon, you could choose whatever weapon you like that has a charge ability or gap closer). After the enemy is immobilized, get off rounds of Puncturing Sweeps. If the enemy runs, charge again OR use Binding Javelin to pin them down and Puncturing Sweep some more.

I've included extra cc (Toppling Charge) and buffs (Repentance and Empowering Sweep) to aid when necessary, use them when appropriate to help you toothpick away.

For equipment, this is a 5 heavy armor, 2 light armor build for survivability and sustainability, however there is no need to stick to this specific 2:5 ratio. I do not include any passives that require x amounts of either set to be equipped, so swap them out to find your balance. I would include some spell damage enchants on equipment to hit harder, as well as some magicka recovery to sustain those toothpicks, but would probably stick with a max health boost food buff because those things are amazing.

Overall this build is a good balance of DPS, Survivability, and Support. Great for Solo'ing PVE or Zerging PVP, with plenty of room for customizing to your specific needs. The second weapon could further reinforce one of those roles by going with:

Bow for better PVP engagements and versatility (range is very useful in PVP)
Sword and Shield for better tanking.
Restoration staff for better supporting.

High Elf race is absolutely optional, but I liked the magicka bonuses. Like everything else in ESO: pick what you like and make it work. :)

ESO is still early in its development, and any changes to skills could make this build no longer viable. Check updates and patch notes to make sure this build is still viable or else you might be spending a lot of time respec'ing. Thanks everyone! Go have fun!

DK Bow easy lvl/grind/solo boss

Pros/cons:
+good leveling
+ weak early game from DK negated by high bow dmg and kiting
+ good balance between stamina and magicka consumption
+ good synergy: dmg from bow - survivability with DK spells
- dont like bow? too bad

Having trouble to lvl your DK? well this build will fit you quiet well.
The Problem with DK early game is his lack of dmg and he dies so easily.
This build combines the good dmg and kiting possibility from the Bow and the survivability from the DK spells.
With BURNING TALONS + SCORCHED EARTH you have amazing aoe dmg and control, while bursting down multiple targets. GREEN DRAGON BLOOD or CORROSIVE ARMOR can be used if you are low health, which is often not the case.
You also have good solo dmg/control. With DRAINING SHOT and OBSIDIAN SHARD you can kite bosses 24 hours and kill them without getting damaged.
The high fire and good poison makes you a vampire/ww bane.
For the ulti i recommend CORROSIVE ARMOR. it makes you 12 sec unkillable aoe fire dmg guy.
later you can also skill something in one hand and shield so you can tank group dungeons if needed.
This build is well rounded and uses both magicka and Stamina balanced. You will find leveling easy and die almost never. I tried also the Fire spells DK which is too one sited and is sad without magicka - just my opinion.

Nightblade Tank/Utility build

This build is what i have been using to solo VR content. It's incredible effective in giving you good AoE as well as survival tactics.

The first bar is the boss bar or single target bar.
By using the Ransack you get the armor buff which helps, however morphing the ability so it reduces spell resist is a good alternative as it will in a minor way affect your swallow soul. Using swallow soul and Refreshing path in conjunction gives you lots of health flowing in and it can create a buffer so help your healer out. Dark cloak i use to stop the boss from using a special. I use the morph that removes 4 negative effects, however if you plan to dps or pvp then going the other way is completely viable as well, just use which ever you prefer. Finally Leeching strikes which is a staple in any melee build in my opinion however you can also morph it to Siphoning attacks which will make ALL attacks have a chance to restore Magika and Stam but you'll lose the healing aspect of it. Since we block quite a bit in boss fights, if you find you don't really have the opportunity to use weapon swings then morph into siphoning attacks and you'll be fine. The ultimate i use is Veil of blades which is our damage reduction and also adds another AoE. By using swallow soul and refreshing paths our ultimate fills up incredibly fast and can be used on average every other pull, if fights take a bit longer you can use it in every pull.

The second bar is my running around the world and trash pulls. Degeneration is another HoT and Sap essence increases your damage as well as heals your party. You can swap out those 2 abilities for other things like Fire rune from the mage guild and maybe shades or teleport strike. again those 2 abilities are very flexible and swap them out as you see fit or adjust to your personal play style.

For attributes i went 19/30/0 and glyphed for stam and health. Since swallow soul and refreshing path is magika based having some points in Magika will help the "healing" aspect of the build. Now this is unique to my play style so play around with it and find what works for you every player is different so experiment a little.

For gear i am currently running 5 heavy, 1 light and 1 medium but if you feel you want more resist then go 2 light. Again just experiment and find what works for you.

I've given this build to a friend who is running dual wield he's made his adjustments and is having a blast so it can me modified to fit your personal needs.

so there you have it, hopefully you enjoy the build and have fun leveling and really enjoy the content. Happy questing!

The Sentinel

mainly serves as a complete shield and support when paired with a high DD magicka build, I normally pair up with a magicka DK, both of us run sword & board. That paired with a stalwart guard paired to your buddy means good survive ability and an increased spell crit for you partener, run this with malabeth set, vigor and coagulating blood you're pretty much invincible with your healing buffs and armour buffs adding into it. you don't really have to block much so you also save a lot of stamina, your damage though is terrible so it all relies on how strong your magicka partner is.

Paladin

This build is focused around the Holy Warrior of the Light, or in this case the sun, very focused on melee combat and a bit of AoE it also has abilities to support groups like "Restoring Focus" and "Solar Disturbance." The impression i have of paladins are that they are a hybird class taking on the role of protector/healer/Melee bruiser.

PvP Damage |Swap| Survive (Templar + Vampire)

This is a build for Templar/Vamp combo

BAR ONE:
Your first bar is a melee two-hand (of any weapon) though I like the axe because of the bleed dot passive. This bar is set up so you can do as much damage as you can put out without being stopped. Immovable will stop anything from preventing from doing the damage you need to kill someone as well as give you a little something to help keep you alive. You have everything from a dot (Vampire's Bane [snares as well to keep them close]), finisher (Biting Jabs), heal (Invigorating Drain [also stuns target and regenerates stamina] as well as Devouring Swarm), to even a gap closer (Stampede). This bar was made for small group engagements seeing as nothing will stop you from doing damage to get your ultimate up and using a massive HP leaching/ damage dealing move

(If you feel there is something you can add or remove to make this bar better please leave a comment)

SECOND BAR:
Your second bar is a defensive ranged bar. It uses many skills to keep your HP bar topped off as well as dealing damage and giving you moves to escape. This bar can be somewhat costly when it comes to magicka, but if running low you can always use your Elusive Mist as a last ditch effort to gain some distance. This bar will keep you alive, but at the same time deal damage. You can in fact fight and kill with this bar, but it is manly for surviving or dealing with ranged class-users who know how to kite (bar one should still be able to hold its own against kiting players anyway because of Stampede). Ice Comet was picked as the ultimate for its massive damage, range, knock back, and snare (one move that almost does it all)

(Again, if you feel there is something you can add or remove to make this bar better please leave a comment)

LEFT OVER SKILL POINTS:
Yes there are a few left over skills points and I say do what you please with them. I myself will use them for the Black Smith perks, but use them for what you want

THANKS:
Thank you for taking the time to look over and rate my build. Leave comments on any questions you may have and I'll do my best to get back to you ASAP. If you feel there is something that you can change to make the build better? Go ahead and leave a comment with a supporting statement. If I like and agree with what you have to say I'll happily make adjustment and give credit as needed

Okay so there is no “Edit” option.. the “4th skill” meant to be “Ward Ally”, the tool mixed the order of skills up a bit :/

    hello
    i added 2 builds… well one and a half.
the NIGHT MAGE and the UNDYING BLADE.

i hope some of you like to comment on theese, since its not the old-fashioned and booring DW/Bow-sneaky-creepy-assasin-rouge-style-archetype.

I like my opponents see me comming and my fights long and rewarding.

maybe we find a way to improve it even more, or you see synergies/buffs/things/changes in rotation which i have not.

    cheers

It’s now the middle of 2017. With the newest content of Morrowwind coming out very soon. Anything for the new builds or monster sets?
